Maybe you can help me find more about this pole. I have just gotten a Barney & Berry 9ft. metal telescopic fly fishing pole. Its in good condition with cork intacted

From what I understand, Barney and Berry is one of the trade names Winchester sold fishing tackle under. (Same company that made fire arms). However, the rod was probably manufactured by the Bristol Rod Company, out of Bristol Connecticut. Probably 1920s....

These rods typically sell in the $20 to $30 range, more if they are near mint with the original bag.
