A friend asked me to see if I could find when a shotgun of his was made, he does not have a computer. He gave me limited information.

If it is the Stevens Model 225 Double Barrel 12 gauge, it was manufactured from 1913 until around 1932.  In good condition they can fetch $200-$250.  Not too much more that I can find out on this one...doesn't seem to be a good source of info and it isn't listed in the usual reference sources.
