saddle setting

2016/7/16 9:30:08

Question
this season I have been getting numbness in my left hand only, and after a short while into my rides. I am also starting to feel some pain in my knees. I have been making minor adjustments to my saddle( lower, more level, straighten handle bars) What can you tell me about this? Thanks

Answer
The advantage of drop bars is the variety of positions you can use. If you are getting numbness you might want to switch positions. You may also want to look for better padded gloves or tape.

Its hard to find the optimum position for yourself. Its a matter of experimentation.

Hope this helps
