bolts

l have a 1981 75 hp evinrude the bolts that hold the powehead to exhaust port replace a week a go all new bolts  ran good for about a 2 mile bolts came back out why please help

I guess the answer can be found in this qquestion: "Why did the wheels fall off the truck?

Did you tighten the bolts to the recommended torque? Maybe not!

Did you insert "lock-tite" or a similar product into each bolt hole?

Has the engine block been replaced? If so, maybe the original bolts were slightly smaller in diameter and vibrated loose.

Is it possible someone could have purposely loosened the bolts?

I could go on and on and on, but I suggest you consult a local marine mechanic whom you can trust, and get his opinion and advice.
