Troubleshooting 25hp Evinrude AE25RALCDC: Starting & Idling Issues

have a 25hp evinrude model number ae25ralcdc. runs well mongrel to start,sometimes dies when idling,takes 20 - 30 minutes to restart. Have checked spark, plugs seem to be wet when checked. Any suggestions please?

First of all, how/why are the spark plugs getting wet? Has a water journal fractured? Is the head gasket damaged or is the head warped?

An inexpensive solution is to spray the ignition wires (not the coil) and the spark plugs with WD-40. Failing positive results, consult a qualified marine mechanic.
