exercise rider daily wages

Question
hello sir. how much does an exercise rider get paid per ride per day? how much would you pay your exercise riders. would you pay more for trotting or for fast work?

Answer
hi -- what you get paid for exercising the horses at the track is what the trainer will pay you to do that type of job. i think it is about 5-10 dollars per gallop or breeze. different wages at different tracks also. you would get paid more at Belmont park rather then being at a small track in some other part of the country. thanks ED HESS
