Question
hello sir, i'm fed up with indian racing.are indians allowed to train racehorses in australia. if so, can you please suggest me a good racecourse?

Answer
Hi Rohit,
If you want to take up training in Australia or New ZEaland I would suggest you obtain a job working for a local trainer for a year or so. This would give you a good opportunity to learn about the local racing systems and to learn the rules of racing in either country.
You will find a list of trainers and studs on www.nzracing.co.nz and a list of studs on www.ozracing.com.
Send your CV to as many as you like and see if they are interested in employing you. Stables and studs are always looking for good staff especially if they can ride trackwork.
You will need to check with the immigration authorities if you can immigrate or obtain a working visa.
Also send your cv to me so that I can mention you to some of my contacts in racing.
My direct email is [email protected].
Regards,
Don
