i dont know where his tattoo # is on his papers...

i know this must seem like a stupid question, but i recently got an OTTB, and i can't figure out where his registration number is on his papers.  it's hard to make out what's written on his lip, and there are like 3 different numbers on his papers. where would the correct number be located?  thank you for your time!

hi  well if you look at his upper lip there should be the correct reg no for this horse. usually there are no letters and then some numbers. it should be very clear on the foal paapers where the no is usually stands out right away. please look at the papers carefully and you should see it this time  hope this helps you thanks ED HESS
