VICTOR RACE BIT

victor race bit
hello sir. may i know when should i use VICTOR BIT on racehorses? i have attached an image of this bit below.

Answer
Hi Caine,
A Victor bit is often tried on a horse that is difficult to steer or when it is lugging. The shorter bar on the front of the bit helps to prevent the horse from getting its tongue over top of the bit. There are many versions of this bit design.

Cheers,
Don Boddie
