Question
Dear Mr Cristopher,
can You please tell me what is score on stop-wacth  which can satisfy You as a trainer to Your horses? As example when You have sprinter horse, what time are You searching on 300m, 400m, and 1000m in training? And same for milers on 300m, 800m and 1600m? And for stayers also?
Thank You, Best Regards

Answer
I do not look for particular times. I gauge ability on a horse's stride and ease of gallop. I watch for fatigue and slow them down when I notice. Heart Rate is the most valuable tool in gauging your horse's potential.
