horse with missing tooth

hello sir, is it a serious issue if a racehorse has missing tooth?

hi--i would have the tooth ferry check on the houses mouth at least twice a year to check out the problems that need to be attended too, such as caps and wolf teeth , and have them floated to keep the horses mouth in healthy condition. i have had some horses that have lost a tooth or 2 in a accident,which is a every day thing.. thanks ED HESS
