whats the process for nyra to add more exotic bets to their menu?? 50 cent pick 5 etc...thank you

First of all, thanks for your question.

The process for expanding exotic wagers is pretty simple - first of all the tracks' ownership must want the wagers - they advise the Mutuel Depart - the Mutuel Department sends in a proposal to the State Racing Department - the State Racing Department either approves or denies the request - its almost 99.9% sure that they will approve - the Mutuel Department then advises the Tote Department how to set up the wagers.  It is almost the same process as setting the dates for each track's live racing calendar for the year.
