Question
An MRI was done and showed the hip being arthritic also speculation of Labrum tear but awaiting to see the specialist neurologist to confirm this diagnosis. It causes crippling pain for days at a time and living on pain killers, glucosamine & Hyaluronic Acid right now.  Any light you can shed on this problem I would appreciate it. If the diagnosis is confirmed would surgery be inevitable or are there other non-invasive options available? Please advise.Thank you kindly and look forward to you reply.

Dear Zoe,
Sorry for making it public-But I wanted to try to help you and I only answer public questions for the benefit of the public. Thank-you for your understanding!

If the arthritis in the hip is bone to bone you may need the surgery.
If the tear is small and in a good position-it may heal.
I do not understand why you are seeing the neurologist-unless it is for the pain.
If you are overweight-now is a good time to go an a diet-This will help in a big way whether you have surgery or not.
Non-invasive options are tincture of time, seeing the neurologist for the pain, weight loss physical therapy and exercises
Hope This Helps
Good Luck!
