Building legs up by Running

Question
Hi,
I am a 23 year old female, and for the last 2 months I have been jogging on the footpath for approx 30 mintues about 3-4 times per week. I have noticed that instead of losing weight from my legs, they have instead gotten bigger. I believe they are getting more musclier. I don't want this as I'm running to lose weight (as well as get fit for netball). I heard that by running on the treadmill instead of outdoors my thighs/legs won't build up. Just wondering if this is true? (I prefer to run outdoors, as get too bored on treadmill and tend to jog for less time).

Answer
Hi Chantelle
Not true CHATELLE.....Go run outdoors and the longer you run the more it is going to happen.Your legs are going to get very sexy with your new program. To lose weight you have to burn off more than you put in.It is that simple Chantelle. If you want to talk in person go to my web site contact page and i would enjoy talking with you to resolve your situation Chantelle.

All the best

John
