Shin Cramps When Running: Causes, Relief & Prevention

I have been running for about 7 mos. Lately I keep getting muscle stiffness/cramping in my shins. Its difficult to pull my feet up when Im running so I find myself feet slapping and my pace slowing down considerably. My muscles are stiff from where my feet bend to my knees. Any suggestions? THANK YOU!

First julie i need to know more specifics on your complete program,such as distance pace days a week age height weight diet etc.One thing that is like gold for runners is vitimin C.I recomend 500mg with 3 meals a day.Get back to me with other info and we will pick it up from there.
