Running Issues.

Question
I've been running for a while now. It was on and off for a while, now since my gym membership ran out, I've been running almost every night.

Just recently though I'm having problems with running. Whenever I run I can feel some tightness on the inside of my legs. Its down the left side of my right leg and the right side of my left leg, basically where my ankles are. When I run I feel like Im putting pressure on them and I feel a sensation of pain. Its fine when Im not running. If I push hard enough into it I can feel pain too. But its only in the area where my ankle bones are (the bit that sticks out from the ankle). I havent had this problem before. I've got good shoes but then again Im not sure if they're right for my feet either. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the problem, or have you got any ideas as to what could be causing them. Or any resources where I could find out some information. I really dont want to stop training. I've been running with the pain; its not that painful, but there is pain to some point. Any ideas? I would really appreciate it.

Answer
How are ya Liam
It sounds to me like a little shin splints and possibly a little achilles tendon strain.
You want to do streches for the tendon after you run and Go every othe day for a week till it heals up and keep the pace down a little. Also for the shin splints and tendon ice both of them for ten to fifteen minutes  every day till you get it under control.Try this for a week and let me know how it is going liam.

To a pain free run

The very best
