Why Does My Foot Fall Asleep While Running? Causes & Solutions

Hi John,

Quick question. I run maybe once a week, 30 mins. When I do, my right foot usually falls asleep. I end up walking a bit and then trying to run again. Any idea what is causing this?

Souds to me like pinched nerves.First you want to check your shoes to make sure your foot has enought room to expand.If it doesn't  the nerves in your foot could compress and cause that sinsation.When you foot plants it imdiatly spreds to accomodate....You should have about a one half inch in your toe box...Let me know how it goes stoff.
