Running in Your 60s: Optimizing Cardiovascular Health & Physical Well-being
Question
I have been running for many years. My runs have been 90 minutes three times a week.
Now that I am in my sixties. I am beginning to get concerned that this is taking a toll on my body. How long do I need to run for optimum benefit for my cardiovascular health and physical well being? I am in good health.
Answer
HI ERROL
AT YOUR AGE NOW THAT SEEMS LIKE A LONG TIME AT ONE TIME TO RUN.
WHY NOT TURN NOW TO POWER WALKING, TAKE A BIG A STEPS AS U CAN FAST AS U CAN AND SWING YOUR ARMS HARD. WALK 4 MILE A DAY LIKE THIS AND THIS IS ALOT LESS STRESS ON OUR JOINTS AND BODIES AND GOOD FOR THE HEART, MIND AND BODY.
