2k Time- College?

2016/7/22 9:47:24

Question
I'm a sophomore girl in high school, weigh about 168 at 5'9, and have a 2k score of 7:20. I was wondering, could I be recruited for these scores?

Answer
Hi Sarah: Your time is in the Top 5% and is only 20 seconds of the world's best time for 15-17 year old girls.  I'd say if you have good on-water racing experience and solid grades, you would be a very good candidate to get a rowing scholarship.

Good Luck/AP
