College Rowing Prospects: Can You Make UNC-Chapel Hill?

I am a 1 season rower-junior in high school with a 7:35 2k. How much would I need to improve before the end of the season to row at a school like UNC-Chapel Hill?

Hi Bethany: Your 2K is in the Top-10% for your age group.  You are already rowing good enough times to make varsity at a relatively small program like UNC.

With good erg times and on-water experience, you should have no problem making a good boat for a college crew.
