Novice erg scores

Hey there, I've been wondering what an average erg score would be for a novice's first 2k? I'm about 5'11-6'0 and 195 pounds and pulled a 7:12 on my first 2k. What should i be pulling?

I've only been rowing for about 3 monthes so any input will help.

Hi Ryan: You left out one key piece of information -- your age.  Average times for a 2K by age are (Based on results posted on the CONCEPT II Database):

13-18: 7:09.4
19-29: 7:11.9
30-39: 7:36.0

For someone with just 3 months of experience, you are doing quite well and your time should go down with more training and experience.
