Winchester Model 67A

2016/7/22 9:04:16

Question
I was wondering when Winchester went into production on this firearm. It is a bolt action single shot .22 cal. that shoots shorts, longs, and long rifles. I can find no serial number on it. But it is a great shooter. Thanks for your time. John

Answer
John,

These rifles were manufactured between 1934 and 1963.  There were approximately 383,000 of them made during that period.  They were not serial numbered which is why you can't find it.  There were three versions...a 20" barrel which was a youth model, a 24" barrel that was a miniature target version and 27" sporting barrel.  In good condition, the rifle is only worth about $150.  The youth model would be worth a little more, probably just under $200.

That is about all I can tell you about it...it was a pretty basic shooter.

Best regards,

Doug Little
