Sears shotgun

2016/7/22 9:07:38

Question
Do you know where I can get any info on a Sears, Roebuck & Co. single barrel, 12 gauge shotgun Model 101.40B?  I have checked the Wisner Inc. website under storebrand houseguns, but could not find this particular model.  Thanks, Jeff

Answer
Hello Jeff. I went to Numrich Arms and found that your shotgun was made by one of the Savage Arms Companies(Springfield Model 947 or Stevens Model 940.) If you go to that web site you can check out the schematics and find your shotgun. A little detective work will help you find what you need. I hope this helps answer your question and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
