Question
Is there any problems with shooting a winchester rifled slug through a smooth barrel? It doesn't have to be riffled does it?

Answer
A "rifled slug" is designed to be fired from a smooth barrel, but may also be fired from a rifled barrel.  So, there is no problem.

But using one of the shotgun bullets (sabots) that are designed to be fired from a rifled barrel will be more accurate.

Hope this helps!

Dave
