rifled slugs

Question
Is it okay to fire to fire RIFLED slugs in a Rifled shot gun barrel?
I know to use rifled slugs in a smooth bore and plain slugs in a rifled bore.

Answer
Firing a "rifled slug" from a rifled shotgun barrel won't hurt the shotgun. But firing a sabot in that gun would provide much better accuracy. In any case, (sabot or rifled slug, etc), be sure to sight-in the gun with the particular ammo that you plan to use.

Hope this helps!
