old shot gun value?

hi I have an old 10 gauge shot gun left hand single shot. id on gun says am arms boston pat mar 21 1882   there is a number near the trigger 3807 i was wondering what you can tell me about the gun and what its value would be? its in fair to good condition. thank you george

Hello George. American Arms Company manufactured single and double barrel shotguns from 1866-1901. They began operation in Boston Mass. from 1866 to 1893. These shotguns were very decent quality. The 10 gauge was made using the Whitmore Patent hammerless with checkering on the stock. Values run from Poor condition $100 Fair $250 Good $400 Very good $600.
