Question
Hi
This might be a stupid question, but, is K.Y.Jelly O.K. to use as a gun lubricant ???
How about black powder guns???
Thanks

Answer
I would say NO. Any thing that attracts dirt, dust, debris or burnt power is not good. The better the lub the thinner coat it leaves so as to not interfere with movement and it will not hold burnt power which can slow the workings and cause a jam.

I like Break free, there are some others that are newer, thinner but you will pay more.  Corrosive X, I think is pretty good and really prevents rust in salt water and it is made for guns, maybe a little more than breakfree, but very good.
