Belgium made bolt action Browning

2016/7/22 9:15:20

Question
I have a Browning bolt action, 30-06 rifle, stamped Belgium made, with serial number L5724. Is it a Safari grade made around 1959-60 ?  Also, can you give me an approximate value ? Thanks for your time & consideration.
Paul

Answer
Paul,

You do have a Safari Grade as evident by the L in the serial number. It was made in 1959 to early 1960.  Value all depends on condition. Assuming it is all original, no recoil pad and in 100% condition it is worth about $1300-$1400. Hope this helps.
