Browning Shotgun

2016/7/22 9:15:36

Question
Dear Jim:
I own a Browning o/u 12 ga. skeet/skeet shotgun that I purchased new in 1976.  It is a Model 27 and one of the last made in Liege ca. 1975.  I have the original blue shipping box and the instruction book.  The gun is approximately 90% with a small ding in the ventilated rib.
I would like to know the fair market value of this gun.  Thank you for your assistance.

Answer
Dick,

I'm sorry, but I do not follow the 27's. I would take a look at gunsamerica.com and get an average price there. You will see high prices and lower prices being asked on the site, but it will give you a general idea. Another option is to look at the Blue Book of Gun Values by Steve Fjested. It is a general reference in value and is used by many dealers. Hope this helps.

Jim
