Wheelsight 22 Browning

2016/7/22 9:17:49

Question
Hello Jim:

I own a 1956 Browning 22 takedown rifle with a wheelsight.  It is in 90% condition and shoots like new.  What is the value and does the wheelsight and 1st-Year imported significantly increase it?

Thank you in advance,
Gary

Answer
Gary,

The first year production helps, but condition is the overriding factor when looking at value. The wheelsight rifles are more collectible in my opinion, because fewer of them were made.

A New in the Box rifle would be worth about $1100-$1300 to the right person. A like New in the Box with out box would be worth about $1000. A starting reference would be to look at the Blue Book of Gun Values.
