F&W .32 revolver

Question
.32 F and W
.32 F and W
Hello there, I have recently aquired a F and W revolver from a friend. He said it was a .32 but there is no markings on it except for the serial number on the butt.its a break action 6 shot. I'd like to know a little more about the company, seeing as I've never heard about it, such as dates, quality and if the company actually produced .32 products.
Cheers,
Cody

Answer
Forehand & Wadsworth Company was in Worcester Massachusetts from 1871 to 1890. They started out as a high quality maker rival Smith & Wesson. That dropped off after the first 2 years. The evolved into a value brand. Then they became Forehand Arms Company until 1902. Hopkins & Allen bought them out and continued to assemble "Forehand" Model. These black powder only no modern ammo. Not wort much $50 to $150 is what it is worth.
