I inherited a J Stevens A&T rifle Model #V35 and the hammer spring is broken and needs to be replaced.  Can you tell me where I can get this part?  Thank you very much, D.J. Bullard

You will likely need to carry the rifle to a competent gunsmith. Rifles stamped as J Stevens A&T were only produced from 1880 until 1916. You will not find parts laying around for these guns anywhere. A competent gunsmith should be able to fabricate the part you need.
