hi, i wonder whether you can tell me about different kind of weapons used by police, and do you know any weapons used in China for  chinese police?

Not sure what is used in China, in the United States Police carry many different weapons.

Pepper Spray - this a like mace or tear gas, it causes the person to cry, running nose, burnning in the eyes, nose and throat.  It is sprayed in the face to stop attacks.

A wooden or metal baton, also called a club or riot baton or night stick

A taser is a like a gun that shoots out electricity and shocks the person so they cannot fight or resist

A handgun is carry on the hip and many officers carry a second gun, called a back up, on their ankle, in their pocket or under their arm.

In the car most police have a long rifle called a shotgun and also a rifle like a M16 or sniper type.

Some also carry at gun that only fires bean bags or sand filled bags or hard rubber balls these are used to cause pain but not seriously injry the person shot.

Most Police carry a knife in their boot or pants pocket to cut things in an emergency or to defend themselves if needed.
