Answer
Hello Peter. Your grandpa may have kept it separated from his other guns as his grab-gun for safety. As far as I am concerned, it is priceless. I have an old singleshot 12ga. that my father-in-law gave me.It was made around 1900. I would 'never' sell it for any price. However it's insurance value is less than 50 bucks. Your shotgun was imported by Saul Eig a Florida importer of foreign made firearms and other items. He was in business in the 1950's and 60's."GUN SMITH ALERT"!! These shotguns look nice, but I would have a licensed gun smith look it over before shooting it. Some very good guns came from Eiber,Spain. Others were not so good. I hope this gives you some information you can use and thank you for asking for me.Charles Gage
