Remington Model 11 SN 123425

Question
Hello,
I just purchased this gun at an auction. It seems to be very old and I would like to know the date of manufacture, and current value. It is missing most of its bluing, there are some very small nicks on the stock. There is a rubber butt pad attached to the stock "Philip S. Olt Co. Pekin Ill MFG. Game & Bird calls" I assume this was added later. The barrel is 24 inches long, has a raised sight rail that is solid all the way down the barrel, and has a muzzle break/choke that can be tightened or loosened according to the desired shot pattern.

Answer
Hello Christopher.

The following link contains a lot of information on all the variations of your shotgun:

https://store.bluebookinc.com/InstantAccess/Model.aspx?product=5&id=1422

You need to confirm the exact model by reading through the descriptions and checking your gun carefully. Then you can click to purchase the blue book value data for your specific shotgun.

To confirm the exact age you need to lookup your full serial number in the following report:

https://store.bluebookinc.com/Info/PDF/Firearm/Serialize.pdf

If your serial number does not match the coding shown in the report then you may need to call Remington to see if they have records for it.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Bob
