What ammunition

I have an old colt .38 police positive pistol. I am having a hard time finding out what ammunition fits this gun and where to buy it. Maybe you can help me on this matter.

The revolver in question should be of the .38 Special cartridge design and use. That said, if you are in doubt at all, please have a qualified person who can personally inspect your revolver confirm that this information is truly accurate for the actualy gun in question.
