Western Field Model 50 Shotgun: Value, Age & History
Question
Could you tell me the date of manufacture, original cost and current value of this shotgun in very good condition?
Answer
Bob,
I do not have access to build date codes for Western Field shotguns since all were "store-brand" guns made by various gun manufactures over the years.
I believe that your "Western Field" is the equivalent of a Stevens model 77 which were prevalent in the 60's, utility in nature and relatively inexpensive when new.
Your M-50 if in V.G. condition has an approximate retail value of $150.
Thank you for the question Bob.
