Answer Paragon is trade name used by Baker Gun & Forging Company in Batavia NY from 1890 to 1919. HD Folsom brought the company in 1919 and made guns till 1923. Baker Guns were extremely high quality. It should be brought to gunsmith to have its condition graded and value appraised.
It should also be examined for safety before firing.
Some had Damacus steel barrels and are not safe to shoot.
