CZ 75 B-SA .40 S&W: A Reliable Pistol and Ammunition Choice?

I just purchased a CZ 75 B-SA .40 cal pistol, only to have a friend tell me the cartridge is"junk".
I will use the pistol more for target shhooting (backup)and would like to have your opinion of both the pistol and the cartridge.

Hello George, The CZ 75 is a VERY Well made pistol. The .40
S&W cartridge is also a very good round. More and more police depts. are going to the .40 cal every day. It doesn't
have the recoil of the .45 Auto(my favorite) and it has more
stopping power then that peep-squeak 9mm. Stick with it.
