Stopping

Question
First off, I am finally able to turn frontside. Yay! Even though the rain tried to stop me, I practiced when I could and it paid off. So now I have a new question. Do you have any tips on stopping while going downhill? Any good ways without having to bail?

Thanks a lot.

Answer
Good job with the frontisde turning! When you're going donwhill, you get to a point if the hill is big enough that you simply can't do anything but stand there and wait till you slow down. My best method is, I take my back foot and keep my heel on the board while dragging my toe on the ground, it seems to work nicely. Or just take your back foot off completely and slide it to slow you down. Whatever works for you is the best way to go! Good luck and keep progressing, keep me posted!
