Kind of Board?

Hi, I'm pretty new to skateboarding, and I'm looking into getting a board. I wanted to know, what kind of board should i get since I'm a bit heavier? I'm about 6'1 and weigh about 190. Any advice is very appreciated. Thank You!!

Hey, you should go down to your local skateshop or go to an online skateshop (ie, www.activemailorder.com). There's not much advice I can give you since all the materials offered are top of the line, but you should be prepared to spend nearly $150 for a complete. Get a 7.75 or 8 inch deck since your feet are probably big, and those same width trucks. Just get whatever looks cool to you. Have fun!
