Question
JoAnne
A couple of the guys on my ice hockey team play inline in the summer.I am a weak ice skater, having just learned a couple of years ago.Would this complement or improve my ice hockey/skating skills?

Answer
Barry-
Cool!  YES inline will indeed help your ice skating skills.  Inline skating is very much like ice skating.  Inline also helps with downhill skiing.  IT is good to get some instruction to learn about edges, proper ways to turn and overall body alignment.  I have worked with many people to help with gaining speed and the ability to switch edges comfortably. Like any sport, once your brain understands what is going on, then you will master your skill.

JUST please wear a helmet and proper protective gear!  The pavement isn't as forgiving as ice.  Road rash burns.

Good luck!
