Question
My biggest fear is skating down big hills.  How can I get over this?

Answer
The best way to get over the fear is to get comfortable with small hills first. If you are having a problem with speed, or your ability to "stop on a dime", then find an open area to practice. It's best to practice at a park or playground, where you won't have traffic to deal with.  I hope you are wearing a helmet, knee, wrist and elbow pads.  I find that when I have on the GEAR that I skate with more confidence.

I'll never forget the first hill I skated down out of control.  I ended up running off into the grass.  I got lucky. I learned from that day forward that I would be familiar with the terrain prior to skating it.

Good Luck and skate safe!
