Head Big Easy

Question
You were kind enough to answer a question I submitted a few weeks ago, suggesting that I look at the Head ski/snowblade hybrid as a potentially safer ski (I have two lousy knees). I can't find anything on the Net called a ski/snowblade hybrid. What is it? A snowboard? Can you point me to a specific model or a site? I am very interested in learning more. Thanks again. -Kjeld

Answer
Hi Kjeld,

Sorry for the delayed response! The ski you are looking for is called the Head Big Easy (I think they have an earlier model called the Line). I saw a few on Ebay for about $50. It's a very short ski, like the Salomon SnowBlade or Propellor, but the feature that makes the Head safer is it's short tail and releasable bindings.

Good Luck,

Ron
