Question
I raced in college and now will be only skiing recreationally. What would base edge and side edge degrees would you recommend.

Answer
You can use 90 degrees if you are just going to be skiing recreationally.  It is simple to maintain.  But I would recommend angles with more bite, if you are going to be skiing icy or icy hardpack conditions.  What part of the conuntry do you plan to ski most often?
