outdoor quad roller skating 101

Question
Hi, I'm a complete study in total frustration. I'm a 55 year old woman who would love to pick-up roller skating again for fitness after a 45 year hiatus and I cannot find anyone to give me a few basic lessons.  I'm really trying hard to avoid 'kissing the pavement' because of the extreme pain and humiliation involved. I live in Westchester county, NY which is north of NYC.  Any suggestions as to who I can contact? Thanks so much for your help.

   Because I'm not in your area I can't give you a specific name but if you stop at any local roller rink, most of them offer group lessons and private lessons.

   You can also check online to find a roller rink in your area then email them with your question or look in your phone book and call them to see if they offer lessons.

Here's a couple rinks that I know offer lessons.  I'm just not sure if they're close to where you live.  If they're not close, try calling one to see if they can recommend a rink in your area.
