Restoring a Vintage BIC Board: Mast Joint & Components

Hi, I've been given an old 13ft bic board, mast & boom.  From reading your notes it looks like I need a fin, centreboard and a mast joint (and a sail obviously) My question is this... there are 2 red plastic holes with little "levers" that I'm guessing is where the mast goes... being an old board can I find the joint for the mast & is this what the 2 holes are for?

The mast base for that board is a board specific base and are no longer made. They are also very hard to find. You might get lucky and find one on ebay. Search separately for windsurf, windsurfer, and windsurfing. Otherwise, I'm afraid you have yourself a stand up paddle board. Sorry I couldn't help more.
