How to Attach a Boom to a Mast (Bic 250 Windsurf - 1988)

just received a gift of a bic 250 wind surf2201 learning  1988 have no idea how to attach boom to mast for there is no clamp just rope around the boom can you help

Answer
Put the sail on the mast.  Lay the sail and mast on the ground.  Slide the boom down to the position you want it on the mast.  Lay the boom back end in line with the top of the mast.  Tie the boom onto the mast.  Flip the back part of boom down and this will clamp it to the mast.
