Finding Replacement Parts for Vintage Alpha Windsurf Boards

Hello.  My uncle is looking for a "tendon" for an old Alpha board from the 80s.  My uncle is 70 and not ready to buy a new board.  Any idea where I might find one of these old parts?  It is about 7 inches long.  I have pictures if that would help.  Thanks!

It is becoming very hard to find original parts but if you know what you are doing you can rig up a new hourglass and mast foot to fit the board and mast.  You will have to find a windsurf shop near you and bring in the broken parts and they should be able to help you.  On the web  the-house.com  used to stock some older parts.
