Windsurfing basics

Question
Patrick,
I sailed for 4 years at college (USNA) and love sailing.  However, I dont feel like dishing out the cash for a small sailboat/trailer/pulling it all over, etc.  So, I'd think windsurfing would be for me (y'know, just throw it on top of the Xterra and off I go.  Tried teaching myself how to windsurf due to my sailing knowledge and ended up giving myself swimming lessons.  Is there any books/websites/videos that you recommend so that I could learn?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
Go to windsurfingmag.com and check out their site. There are online lessons available. I highly recommend getting at least one lesson from a certified school. You can find them at this site also.
Once you progress to intermediate level; which should not take long, you will feel the adreneline rush of planning on a windy day!!!
Good Luck
Patrick
